Treasures from the Collections - 2010
Museum collections are the treasures that tell of family, community, and
business. With that in mind, the museum staff will give visitors a close up view
of the variety of items in their collection during this special event. This
two-part series will feature a different selection of fascinating artifacts each
evening. For the 2010 programs each full-time staff person has chosen an item
from the collection to be part of the series. The historical significance of the
item, how it is cared for, why they choose to feature it, and the story of how
that particular piece became a part of the collection will be shared by
individual staff members. The second session will be 9 March.
