The Kansas City Public Library will make the four-week exhibit the centerpiece of a months-long celebration of Shakespeare, partnering with local and national scholars and an array of area institutions and organizations in offering speaking presentations, stage productions, film screenings and discussions, workshops, and other activities for children and adults.

The Elizabeth Rozier Gallery is located inside the Union Hotel at Jefferson Landing State Historic Site at 101 Jefferson in Jefferson City. The gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. Jefferson Landing State Historic Site is operated by Missouri State Parks.

The exhibit explores the relationship between the Federal government and the garment and beauty industry from the 1870s to the 1950s, showcasing select cases demonstrating the variety of lawsuits that have made their way through the legal system, seeking to provide Federal protection for the consumer, for the company, or for the workers.

As with previous inductees, Rev. Robert and Kimberly Warren are familiar names in St. Joseph.  They are the founders of the MidCity Excellence Learning Center.  The Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to foster a unified community capable of enhancing academic outcomes, addressing social challenges, and expanding economic opportunities.
