The Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC) is conducting its annual search for a large Christmas tree for use on the governor's mansion lawn in Jefferson City.

The acrylic painting of a pair of mallards will be made into the 2018-2019 Federal Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp,  which will go on sale in late June 2018, selling for $25 and raising nearly $40 million to conserve and protect wetland habitats in the National Wildlife Refuge System.
