Rick retired from the Kansas City Missouri Police Department after a 30 plus year career. He served as the Chief of Police his final 5 1/2 years concluding in 2004, and immediately went to work as the President of the Kansas City Metropolitan Crime Commission January of 2016.

Rick has been a lifelong auction attendee. His father took him to countless auctions as a young man and that's where he developed a desire to be a auctioneer. He attended the Missouri Auctioneer School located in Kansas City and graduated in 1991.  Since his graduation he has been involved in countless auctions doing estate sales, car sales and fundraiser auctions. He has been married to Lema Easley for 36 years and they have four grown children and one grandson.

Frank McMillian, Winding River Communications
Online Sales Administrator

Frank McMillian is the owner of Winding River Communications, a company providing creative communications to small- and medium-size businesses and not-for-profit organizations. He is also the publisher of WindingRiver.com, a guide to the history and natural resources of northwest Missouri and northeast Kansas. Through that website he established the African-American Heritage Project and the Native-American Heritage Project to document and index historic sites related to the history of each of these populations.

He has served on the boards of the Clay County African-American Legacy, Inc., the Alexander Doniphan Community Service Award Committee, The Native Sons and Daughters of Greater Kansas City, the Clay County Archives and the Clay County Millennium Historical Board.  He is an active member of The State Historical Society of Missouri, the Kansas Historical Society and the William C. Corum chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution.

Frank is a veteran of the U.S. Army and a recipient of the Joint Service Commendation Medal for his service while assigned to the Director of the National Security Agency. He has also received the Lee I. Pickering Award for Excellence from The Native Sons and Daughters of Greater Kansas City and the Martin Luther King Jr. Service Award from the Clay County (Missouri) M.L. King Jr. Committee.
